These are hard times. We’ve been locked down because of the Coronavirus and we have worried about our family and our dear ones. And we have learned to hug friends with our eyes only.
But we’ve had also an opportunity to sort out things in our minds and at home. And here it comes out of the blue this recording of our trio live in a Jazz club in Rome.
The year is 2004, our album “Tree and Figure” was published the year before, and in a few months we will record “La Edad de la Ira”. In fact, the songs of this live concert belong to these two albums, and there’s a beautiful swing and an amazing interplay, and the music is joyful, instinctive and soulful.
We miss so much our concerts and audience, but on this live album we have music and voices, applauses and glasses and laughter. And we feel at home.
