La Edad de la Ira is the name of a series of paintings by the Ecuadorian painter Oswaldo Guayasamín. Although this paintings are about pain, poverty and misery that result from war and social injustice, his artistry enshrines hope. This song is my tribute to him and my way to say thankyou for his art.
In Front is a piece by Keith Jarrett from his first piano solo album, and this is our version.
Moove is like a “danceable” refrain…with a few beats more…
Azul y Blanco: “este Caetano Veloso me pone los pelos de punta” are the words spoken by Marco in Almodovar’s film Hable con Ella. This song is my way of saying thakyou to Caetano and to Pedro.
Keyframe: the first five notes in a major scale, in two versions, framed between different chords over different pedals.
Ninietta is my purpose, my north, south, east and west. (This song was awarded finalist in the 2006 USA Songwriting Competition)
Ukiyo. The World fluctuates and is changeable, like Hokusai’s wave, Ukiyo
Personnel: Antonio Flinta piano, Roberto Bucci bass, Claudio Gioannini drums
